noticed it out the corner of my eye, Fraser seemed to be going over there but then walked away. It was all very strange hope someone reports it

I noticed the ballboys having a quick conflab in front of the south stand after our second goal, after which the ball was much, much slower in being returned to play.

Good on them :lolol:

Their sub chatting up that teenage ball-girl to the chants of "Paedo" from the D Block was a highlight for me! :lolol:

It was not the ballboys decision. From my veiw between the dug outs it was quite clear that both Fraser and Stewart gave a ballboy each a message which was then passed on around the ground to all other ballboys. It was after this they all seemed to slow down and which was why Calderwood was trying to get a timeout :shootself

That's right - at 2-1 Fraser had a word with the ball girl in front of D block, and after that a number of the spare balls went missing. When Forest had a corner there was only one ball in sight and the lad was commendably ambling away with it in the wrong direction. When the Forest player tried to snatch it he calmly rolled it a bit further away. It's the sort of thing that could get the club in trouble - if it happened to us at an away game I'd be incensed - but if I was a ball boy that's exactly what I'd do.

And it's true that when Holt came off he deliberately went as far from the dug out as possible before the board went up, and then left the pitch with the sort of jog that's slower than my granny's walk, and she's dead.

No they would not and like mentioned just above your post it is the sort of thing that could get you into trouble. During our times at the Goldstone the head of the ballboys was sacked for knocking a ball back into the crowd thus wasting time. If he had not been we could have encurred the wrath of the FA.

Hang on a minute, they are our ball-boys/girls, shouldn't they do as we tell them?

I would quite happily cheat, cheat and then sell my own mother in order to get three points.

Re Grant Holt going off- he knew about a minute before the board went up that he was the man being replaced, and deliberately went right over to the far touchline, from where he slowly rolled his fat ass back across the entire pitch when their bench finally got around to subbing him.

Prior to that, he had stayed entirely in the centre, or on the right side, and had no reason at all to be on the left. Even the ball was miles away.

Therefore if Forest are looking for sympathy over the alleged timewasting of a couple of 11 year old boys, they can get BENT.

Seem to remember Jake Robinson doing something similar to a ball boy at Oldham this season. The kid went running off crying then went back to his "seat" with his mum by his side :lolol:

I missed that, but my Brother-in-Law saw it.

They could have done with another minute or two to find an equaliser.
