Is that for stored passwords as when signing in many say do you want us to remember the password or the bank says remember user name.
As a caveat, I'm not pretending to be an expert so if someone wants to correct me then please feel free.

Anyway, if it's a keylogger, which is the specific example I used, then I believe it would only pick up on things that you'd actually type yourself.

This isn't to say that there aren't types of virus/malware out there that can't mine for that sort of information anyway.

Not too long ago, there was a virus out there that was encrypting files remotely and holding the owner to ransom if they wanted to get into them again.

Again, don't worry too unduly, If you've run a few scans since you clicked the link you're most likely fine, just be a bit more careful in future when clicking links (or pop-ups).

Does malwarebytes free download also work to protect a samsung tablet?
I think they've got an app for tablets & phones which presumably will do the job.

The version on your pc wouldn't be any use for the tablet (if that's what you were asking) as it will be running an entirely different operating system (such as Android, instead of Windows), meaning the malware it looked for would be very different.

There is no indication and says click here to read further information but as I say comes up Error 404 I have replied to them asking what it is all about but as yet no reply. I wondered if anybody knew what field they specialised in as their home page doesnt give any indication. If I knew that I may have more idea of what it is all about. It also says if I dont reply to the court, but no indication of which court, the claim will be dropped.

If I ever saw an email or letter that said, basically, I can ignore this, I would!:ffsparr:
