What I don't get is why do you have to be in the Knight or Bloom camp. Personally I'm chuffed to bits that Bloom has taken over but have the upmost respect to Knight for what he has done and hope he enjoys his semi retirement/new role

Of course this will lead to a bigger range of inedible foods on sale at the new stadium. Last year I went to The Rosebowl and they had several fast food wagons which were selling very poor quality foodstuffs. It's much easier at Withdean as we have such a limited choice of poisons

What with Bloom lending us the money INTEREST FREE we won't be paying interest to banks. How on earth is the British financial system going to recover unless they can bleed clubs like us white with excessive interest payments? The club have behaved very selfishly IMO.

I'm just pissed off the we didn't let the club fizzle out and die. 10 more years at Withdean would've done me, now there's all this money and a new ground, quite frankly I'm EMBARRASSED

Let the binfestery begin. What a pathetic thread. There is nothing wrong in having a little healthy scepticism about any change in regime. I think most of the concerns were dealt with by Bloom in his Argus interview and the future does indeed look very exciting and there is a lot to be happy about.

What I have found particularly distasteful has been the unwarranted trashing of Dick Knight by certain posters on this board. Some people seem to revel in the takeover as opportunity to diss the man who saved the club from going out of existence, getting it back to brighton, got the the biggest haul of sliverware that most fans on this board are ever likely to see in their football watching lives and to top it all finally delivered a shiny state of the art stadium for us all to enjoy in the years to come.

Look at what he took over, and look at what he left behind, some people don't know how lucky they are.

As each day passes this deal looks better and better for the Albion but there really is no need for this immature attitude from the anti-DK brigade.
