Taken from Sky News, guess you people had best stock up with them;

END OF 'HOOLIGAN' CAP

A baseball cap is being dropped by Burberry because it is the hat of choice for football hooligans.

The fashion house is concerned at the effect on its image and has stopped production of the cap, which sells at around £50.

The move is reported in the Daily Mirror which says the company will not confirm why it has taken the decision.

The paper quotes a worker at Burberry's Castleford factory saying it was because of the association with hooliganism.

Last year, a gang calling themselves the "Burberry Boys" attacked a coach of Turkish fans at the England-Turkey match in Sunderland.

Last month, two pubs in Leicester told door staff to ban anyone wearing Burberry and other label clothes.

The brand was founded in 1956 and the company now has stores all around the world.

Thank feck they're not making it now. Doubt it will stop people wearing knock-offs though

Damn right. Standards have been allowed to fall to an quite vile level at Withdean. I've seen a couple of cads wearing what I believe are called "training shoes" and a large gentleman whom I believes hails from a small village in Hampshire clad in all manner of tartan coloured outfits.
