Don't go out tonight
Croydon is alight
The locals have trashed their town again
Doesn't flow.
Maybe try ,
Don't go out tonight
Croydon towns alight
The Eagles are still in the top flight.

Cool. But this won't work after you've been relegated this season. How about this:
Don't go out tonight
Croydon town's alight
And Selhurst is still a pile of shite.
I'm warming to this version
Not a bad effort, it flows better.
Well done you
That would be the fires
John Fogerty lived in South Norwood and was a founder member of the fanatics
If he comes from South Norwood...It must be Up Around The "U" Bend
I'm just back from Brazil and the song of the tournament and the most vocal supporters award was easily won by the Argies.
To the tune of Bad Moon Rising by Credence Clearwater Revival it sounded superb whenever it was sung.
I don't know if the tune is familiar enough for sufficient Albion fans to get it going and then followed by others. Also, suitable Albion lyrics would need to be created.
If (a big if) it was able to be adapted the supporters would have a superb song to add to our repertoire.
Its ok, but it could do with speeding up a bit
I see the Seagulls arising,
I see Sami leading me,
We are Brighton & Hove Albion,
We are from Sussex by the sea,
Don't go around tonight,
Unless you're wearing blue and white,
There's a Seagull on the rise.
