Rangers. Celtic. Rangers. Celtic.

La, la, la,la, la, nick nick.

The older north stand roof that went in about 1980, was lower making a darker more exciting North Stand.

Posh end of Shoreham
You'll never make the station
You'll never make the station

Always seemed funny when sung by a load of twelve year olds down the front of north stand

I've mentioned it before but why did every club in the 80s sing
Here we go , here we go , here we go
Here we go , here we go , here we go
Here we go , here we go , here we go, here we go
HERE WE GO !!!!!

I'm still here too. Loving the Amex but missing the old north stand atmosphere. You do still catch a few faces at the Amex. Blimey there were some faces and characters from the old north stand days. Didn't actually know them but you would see them most weeks. Great days.

I miss the shout of 'boing' for each header after a goal kick and a boo when it got kicked or hit the ground. Much better than the pirate-stylee 'argh'.

Reminds me of how much I miss the Goldstone. Loved the excitement of walking down Old Shoreham Road and hearing the crowd get louder as I approached. It had a unique atmosphere. Some great days, winning promotion vs Bristol Rovs, Wilkins free kick against Ipswich etc. Mind you, wouldn't now swap it for the comfort of the Amex but certainly it has a place in my heart.

A few songs from the 70’ some might remember

We all live in the Goldstone ground (Yellow Submarine)

I’d walk a million miles for one of your goals ..... Sully (Mammy)

We’re harder than most and we rule the south coast ah ah ha
La La La Brighton FC (Ride a White Swan)

From the banks of the river Mersey to the shores of Sicily

Celtic! Rangers! Celtic! Rangers!

"I hear the sound, of distant bums ..." (probably couldn't do that one now!)

This subject has come up before and it's incredible how many songs and chants we used to sing in the old days. You'd think all these semi-organised fan groups could have resurrected a few of them, instead all they came up with was the St Pauli chant - and even that seems to have died a death this season.
