The deceptive score board :lolol:

You see Turkey - I think that was your problem.

At about "Seven Nil to the Albion...." I probably was not alone in thinking 'just how long is this going to go on for!'.

How it ended up on the pitch i'll never know... ???

Was it your pasty that entered the field of play by way of a goal celebration?

Shocking scenes.

Right footed Denilson - I am not sure i agree with your comments. Hinshelwood and Cullip were solid but again our lack of height at the back was shown up - we did not win a load of 50-50's and their 2 guys up front won about 80% of headers which looked about their best threat.

I thought Oatway was OK, solid battling display. I thought he actually showed a bit more going forward than Rodger did (

oops, not sure how I did that but I shall continue....

Rodger didn't show much until the last 15 minutes when he showed some good touches and composure.

I too was impressed by Harding. He looks as if he wants to take a few guys on and also seemed to have a decent vision.

All agreed, Leon Knight looks a class act. If we can get him facing goal and running at defenders he will score goals and terrorise defenders.

At work - probably
From what I saw on TV - I was very impressed with Leon and McPhee together - McPhee won a couple of headers/flicks ons that set Leon up with chances and Chris isn't afraid to run at the defence (nor is Knight). I think when Henderson goes back Chris should be given a chance.

I thought Jones played well until the seding off - it was bad but not as bad as Claridge made out. Harty seemed up for it and went for a burn down the wing Kanchelskis-style at one stage!! I liked what I saw of Harding when he came on. I have to say we've got some good youngsters at the moment.

Roberts looked solid as was the rest of the defence - infact Kerry was absolutely everywhere again!!

Oi, Superwife and I both sang ourselves Horse last night, still got a f***ed throat now. I guess it's a bit of the Withdean situation, the noise goes up and out, no roof and only 500 or so there. At times the fans over to the left were singing either a different song, or out of time with the fnas on the right.

Then again, it was a bit difficult to hear what the main group of people were singing, and got a little out of time a couple of times, should have put me finger in me ear!

Still, we won, Tottingham or Soton away in the next round please:clap2: :clap2:

Good morning Chaps.

Agree with what has been said so far. Poor first half, from what i've heard Jones should have had that penalty. Not much for either side to write home about.
Second half as a big improvement, Albion looked by far the batter side, Rodger battled well and Harding looked very good Marvellous goal from McPhee who i think looked very determined to show that he was up to playing first team football every week.

Overall a solid performance and we're in the bag for the next round. Mission accomplished.

Big shout to Duffy who manged Bristol to Burgess Hill in a shade over an hour and a half.

What do you mean i'm doing 120mph??

Meridian's coverage made it look as though it was pretty much all Albion. Surprised no-one's mentioned Roberts' excellent double save in the first half. Had the 'penalty' been in front of a bank of Albion fans it would have been given, - From behind it looked as though Jones was scythed down no question, but from the side angle it looked as if he went down with very little help from the Rovers man.

almost forgot mayo's quality attepmt at some sort of flying volley/shot/header/catch in front of goal where he seemed to jump in the air and fall on his side.

had a good game though :clap2:
