Don't Mention The War
I thought we were ok, passing was impressive. But we switched off at cruicial times, espically for their first goal. How did Murray miss from three yards out I'll never know, this is indeed worrying because his finishing is costing us points and goals. I thought we lost to many second balls yesterday, and they looked alittle sharper then us and what proved our downfall really.

Kuipers 6- Nothing he could of done with the goals. Made one great save in the first half.

Whing 5- Awful, he was dreadful. His distribution and procession was below par.

Elphick 8- MOM, was brillant throughout. Kept us from losing that 3-0. Definitely deserves Player of the season.

El-Abd 7- Was strong, but not particullary impressive. His heading was ok, but got outpaced a few times.

Richards 6

Martot 6

Thomson 6

Fraser 7

Westlake 6

Murray 6-

Forster 6

Subs:

OGH 5
Loft 6
Jakey 6

I didn't think it was a penalty. I thought Murray fell but not pushed.

My thoughts entirely. Thought Murray went down very quickly but not like he had been chopped down.....but then again if the ref (who was shit by the way) thought he had dived he should have been booked (which is what all the players who surrounded the ref were trying to explain)

Couple of points from the game as i saw it

Firstly, how crap is our new Scottish midfielder :( Thought his abject performance against Orient was a one off, but yesterday he was worse

Secondly, how the f*** did Murray miss that chance from 2 yards :( The seat in front of me got a good kicking when he goofed that one up

Thirdly, Carlisle looked very good going forward and i hope they go up. All of the fowards and midfielders look nippy and confident with the ball - broke with speed and purpose

Good turn out from the fans, much respect to anyone who made the trip from the South East

Not 100% convinced it was a penalty myself.

Don't think we should beat ourselves up too much over a defeat at a side who may well be in the Championship next season, and who have one of the best home records in the country, but I guess it was disappointing that having played well in spells, we couldn't sustain it. As usual, the concession of a goal seemed to send confidence levels plummeting amongst the team, bringing about more pressure.

And when Wilkins brought on Hart and Loft, and took off Forster with about ten minutes left, it seemed to signal to me that he'd given the game up. I can see his thinking, with lots of games coming up, but on the other hand it doesn't say much to the fans who've travelled 300+ miles to know we're only going to bother for 80 minutes.

Good job Leeds don't think like that or they'd be in the relegation zone.

Fourteenth Eye says we are moving in the right direction,as we are dropping down the league this indicates we are bound for Div2,Our away form is poor and in the remaining away games against superior teams we are not likely to pick up many points, but I do think we will avoid relegation.
Another season in Div1 will see gates even smaller, however if you are prepared to travel to Carlisle to watch the standard of Div1 football then the board can count on keeping all turnstiles manned next season.

Little ray of sunshine, aren't you?

Why make a personal comment about him? He's given his opinion. Disagree with his opinion by all means.

:thud: Where was the PERSONAL comment?

Did I call him a chump, or a dildo, or a Palace fan? No.

I commented on the tone of his post - that was my OPINION on his OPINION.

I love it when you comment on things that don't concern you. It's hilarious.
