If you're reading this you know that NSC is back.

Sorry - it's taken so long - I'm a lazy workshy good-for-nothing.

We now have our very own dedicated server - no-one can say "You're too busy, piss off somewhere else".

However, I have no idea if this particular server has enough power for the site so I'd really appreciate if you could all post your initial impressions, good or bad, on this thread.

Is the site fast enough or is it slow? If it's slow - is it unworkably slow or just a tad annoying.

Yes, I know the NSC logo is not there yet - I'll sort it out.

On 2MB Broadband it seems as fast as it was before.

Just need to sort out the missing graphics and all will be perfect

Running very quick on mine.

I think the fact the logo is trying to load from the www.northstandchat.biz address might slow the page loads down for people on dial up

Yup - seems fine & fast to me on a 1MB connection.

Seems to be extremely slow for me for some reason (using at work). The screen stays white for a good 20-30 secs whenever I go into a thread or hit 'The Big Board' at the top to come out/refresh.

Maybe its our shitty works server, but NSP is running just as quick as usual so I dunno...

Pretty swift for me, but as others have said, certain graphics take their time to load. But the text comes up in no time.
