Did anyone else notice that during the Reading match how much the players were back chatting and generally arguing with what they were being told to do? Was this anything to do with Wilkins not being in the technical area?

Obviously players are entitled to an opinion but to me it really looked like they were seriously questioning what they were being told to do - not the behaviour of a professional?

Has the pendulum swung completely the other way from alleged control freak McGhee? Can't comment as to the truth of the above as I wasn't there but it doesn't sound like a base for a good season.

Who was being backchatted?

Forster - looked to be arguing with the bench and his facial expression was that he wasn't going to do what asked - OK he is a seasoned pro and obviously very experienced but regardless of that surely you must just do as told by the management.

Cox - again looked to be questioning what he was being told to do.

Robinson - seemed to be getting a bit of a roasting from the bench, telling him to get forward, get back, move tighter on that player etc - to be fair though he seemed to just get on with it.

Can't remember any other specifics but I certainly left with the feeling that they were'nt doing as they were told - I guess Wilkins was in the North Stand due to his crutches?

Certainly Nicky Forster was most animated at one point close up saying something along the lines of "i can't do everything"

I saw Forster bollocking Cox for playing too deep.

Poor Nicky, I don't think he knows quite what he's got himself into.

If it's Forster shaking up the young "know it alls" he has my full backing, exactly what they need imo

Sounds the most promising thing I've heard in ages.........as long as the Deans back Forster to sort it out his way:D
