If she is guilty of killing somebody while drink driving then she should be facing a manslaughter charge.

It's a tragic case but why do the media refer to a Toyota 4x4. The baby didn't die because the woman was driving a 4x4, it was because she was drunk (allegedly).

Probably didn't help that it was a heavy, large and powerful car.

Hope they throw the book at the woman, just disgusting.

Police said the woman was being questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, drink driving and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs.

surley drink driving is the same as driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs??

Being drunk behind the wheel of a car should mean you can never have a driving licence again. Killing someone means you should go to prison for the rest of your own life.

And sorry to get on my soap box again, but 4x4's should be banned in towns and cities. They are not needed and do more harm than good in built up areas.

dont try and make out it's a whichhunt against 4x4s, in cases like this it would have been documented if she'd been driving a fuckin Trabant

Also I would imagine a 4 x 4 would be harder to control if pissed

Doubt it, they have power everything. Wouldn't really matter that much what the woman was driving, any car verses pram only has one likely outcome.
