It was jolly nice for everyone to get a free pint and a pie.

I also thought it a nice touch of the catering staff, late in the game, to bring out all the leftover pies for the stewards (who were as friendly and helpful as ever).

I’m staying over tonight in Newcastle. I’ve just satisfied my desire for chicken wings in Spoons at the Quayside, so can I submit my query for the “pointless question of the day” prize:

Away support sounded great on telly, despite smaller numbers than usual! Great effort.

As for the geordie atmosphere- absolutely shocking. I see there's a thread on their forum complaining about how poor the atmosphere is there, too. Probably is on the forums of all clubs in this country tbh

It was a really nice touch. I, however, looked at the queue and thought "I can't be arsed with that"
