As I said on another thread, when there are 1200 of us in a 3000 capacity stand then go where you like.
When there are 3000 of us in a 3000 capacity stand then sit in allocated ticket seats.

Yep, I agree with that!

It's sad watching the machismo bullshit of people who turn up 2 minutes after kick off and then stand in the aisle, goading the stewards because they can't be arsed to find their seat and because they are beered up.

Couldn't agree more.

If it's a sell out then you HAVE to sit where your ticket says! Isn't this obvious? It is to me. If I have purchased 6 tickets so that we can sit next to each other then that is what we should be able to do.

If there are loads of spare seats then obviously there is room to manouver.

I had to move on two people who were in our seats yesterday.

I stood for the first hour as nobody told me to sit, and if I had then I wouldn't have been able to see as everyone else in front was standing.

If the person behind you is sitting down then you should sit down.

Can't be arsed to vote in this stupid poll.

Can't you understand the difference between the sell out games and those where there's plenty of room, fatboy?

It certainly won't seperate regulars from day-trippers, just those that have consideration for others from those that don't. :salute:

Serious poll - and might separate the day trippers from regular away supporters......

I take it you are a "regular away supporter".

I'm just a day tripper. I really wish I could be more like you. Can you teach me? You're so cool. Should i book all my holidays between June and July, saving the odd day for games likes Leeds away on a Tuesday night? Should I dump my girlfriend, give up other responsibilities and hobbies and commit my life to the Albion? Should I get a tatoo and a network railcard and a shirt with my name on it?

Nah, f*** it. I'll keep my life and just go to the odd away game like the other 2,000 "day trippers" there yesterday.

Where i was sitting, i had a great big poll in the way of my view of the pitch, i mentioned to the steward that i couldn't see and she just said that i should crouch my neck down so that i can see under the pole.  My ticket should have had obstructed view writen on them! I would much rather prefer to sit at the back, theres always the argument about sitting where you should, you could have a system like the do at a cinema and not have a seat number on the ticket and you can sit where you prefer to sit and only sell as many tickets as there are seats, if you want to sit at the back if you want to then you can, if you want to sit at the front then you can!

I'd rather have always have it sit-anywhere. That way, if you're really fussed about sitting in a particular seat, you can get there early - otherwise, take any seat you can. Much better for the atmosphere, and everyone can be contented.

What did raise an eyebrow for me today was people standing up for so long in front of the disabled area fans - I hope their area was high enough for them to see the play.

We were in front of the disabled area ( poorly designed but thats neither here nor there) we stood because the people in front of us stood, and i didn't pay to look at the back of someones shirt. Unfortunate but i don't feel guilty.
