A couple of questions for stats gurus:

1. When was the last time we had 3 consecutive away wins in the same season?

2. What and when was our longest sequence of away wins in the same season?

Yeah we won 5 in a row under Horton. I saw it when for some peculiar reason I was reading the back of the video case of 'Hortons heroes' earlier

Didn't we win 3 in a row away at the end of last season aswell? Luton, Bradford, Bristol Rovers? Not in that order perhaps...

Bradford?! What the hell was I thinking... It was 2 at the end of last season and then Crewe, Southend and Northampton this to make up 5.

1. Didn't we do it earlier this season? Crewe, Southend and Northampton.

2. 1998 under Brian Horton maybe? Cambridge, Barnet, Darlington, Hull and Shrewsbury.

Ah but though...Northampton was in the paint pot trophy. I really intended to include league matches only.

And were there any cup games in Nobby's quintet of success on the road?

Well this rules us out winning at Huddersfield then, I never realized we had won so little consecutive games on the road.
