Isn't it the average away following for every team? ???

Where are these stats from anyway?

We have further to travel than most teams.

Because we don't have as many local games as the teams up north and in more central areas. :jester:

I reckon Yeovil has the worse travelling to do then Carlisle and then us or Bournemouth

I do most of my away travel from Yeovil (drive from Plymouth and pick up a lift from there) - its a lot easier than anywhere in Sussex - only about 20 or 30 miles from Bristol

Top four average distances in this division...

Carlisle - 223.1 miles
Yeovil - 191.1
Brighton - 190.7
Bournemouth - 183.5

Biggest distance - Bournemouth - Carlisle, although Brighton - Carlisle is further as the crow flies.
Least distance - Leyton Orient - Millwall

This site has some quite interesting charts and maps of the distances travelled in our division

Statto Site

If you really want to be a total statto it also has such illuminating stats as the attendances in the Sussex County League and the mileages between the clubs

Thank you. I shall file it away carefully, along with the explanation of the Sterling long term yield curve :jester:

Wow, it's 86 miles from Rye to Selsey.

But I'd travel a million miles for one of your smiles, Big Al.

not bad not great

our away support has definitely dropped off

So has the football the team produces! Half the time we don't even look like we could score if we played for a week! :nono:

4 goals in the last 6 away games is dire! :nono:
