I imagine given the backlash from the past few days we will see a couple added and the big announcement around double jabbed

I picture someone at Easyjet in charge of their website, ready within a micro second, to press the multiple flight costs by 800% button (to new green list destinations).

So Balearics are open to UK tourists, all you have to do a sign mandatory pre-travel declaration form, but no requirement for a negative Covid test let alone, let alone a double vaccination, right?

I feel them, many business on the brink.
But Brits have few choices in Europe so why not impose negative test or even limit to vax'd travellers with kids exempt?
A safety first approach increases their chance is a longer season, with the current policy they'll be amber again before the schools are out.
There is also a prospect of other countries in Europe not wanting to visit these places for the fear of contact with unvax'd, untested Brits. You only have to hear the vibes from Merkel yesterday

R4, always excellent, covered this yesterday. Their Europe correspondents described Merkel as the ultimate conservative and Conservative, so she's ultra cautious on everything.
My personal view is that we need to strike a balance somewhere between the rabid "let's open up everything, it's as good as over due to the vaccine" backbenchers and nightclub owners appearing in the media, and the Merkel's of this world.
Covid is here forever, governments across the world can't keep stacking up colossal pandemic debts, people need to start living their lives in full.
I fully understand your test/vax point, but I think the vaccines have been an astonishing gamechanger. The Delta Variant may have been in the UK for the best part of 3 months now, but hospitals simply aren't filling up and deaths remain steadily very low.
The new normal is that life and living comes with an additional risk.

I used Easyjet last night. Single legs of some Balearic flights this summer, especially around weekends, suddenly mushroomed to the multi £100's per person.
Wait till this is over and the new admin fees/charges come out....

Was speaking to one of the practice managers earlier at the surgery I'm registered with about something IT related and they said they were at the Vaccination Centre today taking delivery of the next batch of vaccine's so wouldn't be at their normal PC for me to install something we had arranged. I cheekily said that should mean I might get a call soon to arrange my second dose and she just booked me in there and then for next week.

It was fluid pricing on steroids last night, I’d say potentially unfair trading.
At the final Easyjet hurdle of paying by card, just minutes after choosing flights, Easyjet online gave a take it or leave it … additional £32 “due to price changes” during the process.
I’ve never seen anything like that before in online buying goods or services.
They may have just rejigged the fare classes
I honestly think A lot of the seats are going and the flight classes are just selling
We sold a lot of Barbados flights over night

Spain's tourist season is falling apart before its got started this summer. Reckless decisions on letting tourists enter untested and unvaccinated....

If that is for the islands the cases are linked to mainland Spain and not brits abroad
