Fine effort by Exeter and Carlisle...their fans must rack up some mileage following their teams!

I'l say these stats are only worth anything at the end of the season as some grounds have a bigger away capacity than others.

They should be taken with a pinch of salt anyway.

So many factors affect away figures.

Ease of journey
Price of journey
Day of the week
Form of the team
...and so on.

Away attendance stats are only reliable at the end of the season, once every team has played eachother twice. By then we'll be in the top two if not top.

Not convinced given that we've already been to charlton saints and Peterborough and brentford and orient are Tuesday nights. Can see us taking shit loads to notts county though, unless we've had a mare before then.

And better still, Plymouth - especially given the season they're having. To average over 800 away is incredible.

Here is an updated version of the average away attendance, League One 2010/2011 - Attendance
as you can see we are sitting nicely at the top.

We are bound to be top. Remember that we have an extra large attendance ahead of Southampton, Wednesday etc because they can't visit themselves and the like for like fixture will be an 8,000 figure at Withdean.

Plus we have visited all four of the big grounds thus far - Hillsborough, St Mary's, Galpharm and the Valley.
