I thought that a couple of our player in the early 80's were earning fortunes (multiple thousands per week) and this was the cause of our initial money problems? Or has that bit not been plotted?

Robinson and Foster were, supposedly, the second and third highest paid players in the Football League.

On the subject of wages, I read the other day that Danny Ings is on over £100k per week at West Ham.

I mean, fair play to him for managing to con that out of West Ham for a seat on the bench all season but who manages that club's budget??
