Is this some kind of sick joke?

Not one but two games in a row between the teams on the Friday and Tuesday in oz before one of our biggest games of the season. How has this been allowed to happen?

We should definitely pull our players out of the second game.

If you buy players from far flung parts of the world, (because their cheaper and less likely to have been discovered), then you have to accept that they are going to go to far flung parts of the world to play international football

Brighton should be a club where players feel like they can come to advance their international ambitions. We shouldn’t pull them out of the game.

We have to beat Brentford, probably without those two players.

Part and parcel of having International players. They’ll be back by Wednesday though I suspect (and probably quite early), no reason why they can’t be ready for Saturday’s match.

I disagree. How is it acceptable for a double friendly in oz to be played during the season. It's an absolute joke.

We won't beat Brentford with caciedo and pervis missing. As much as I don't want a fixture build up we may as well get the game postponed due to the train situation on that day.

Who the hell cares about International football anyway.
It’s crazy, none of the European clubs have been consulted about the 192 team World Cup - or however many they’re having now.
I know that this Australia Ecuador game has nothing really do do with that but FIFA will have to be careful. The money is in Europe and clubs are already protesting the World Cup increase

When you buy players you are taking a risk but stupid friendlies and increasing World Cup numbers will eventually mean that clubs will make their money talk and move away from International support

This completely.

In January 2022 we had a few on here crying over Bissouma representing Mali in the African Cup of Nations.

And before that it was Ryan captaining Australia in the Asian Cup in the UAE in 2019.

Surely we should want our players playing all international football.

It's a huge honour to both club and player.

Long may it continue here.

Moises and Pervis care deeply about representing their country as evidenced in the world cup.

They must go with our blessing and best wishes. There is a bigger picture here.
