Is the ODI team always so different to the test team? Do some players specialise?

Yes, players like Jason Roy will never make it as a Test Batsman.

Feeling a bit more confident about the 50 over format as Strauss and Bayliss have clearly made this a priority.

England 76-2 after 9 overs, a ludicrous run rate considering how the game used to be played!

Few myths written in jest already. Facts are: England went into the Series slight favourites, Root is marginally ahead of Smith in ODI, Wood bowled magnificently but still coming back from injury so could not yet play real cricket, 300 was good on first innings but below par on a nicely drying pitch and outfield.....

172-2 and Roy has a Century.

England should go on to win this - proof that the one day game is now totally different to Test Cricket.

and this is in Australia not as with Hales 171 v Pakistan at Trent Bridge or his own 162 v Sri Lanka at The Oval
Bell´s 141 was the previous best v Australia in Australia
Robin Smith´s 167`* was the best v Australia and was the second best ever
