Very disappointed to see it took to the second page postings before a Kylie bottom picture came up. Easily my favourite, not just for her bottom, but her longevity. About ten years ago, I went with an actor friend to an end of run party at Chichester Theatre. There was an Australian wardrobe mistress there and for some reason the conversation turned to Rolf Harris.

She bridled at his mention and said, “You know why he left Australia in the 50s? Because he was messing around with underage girls and the authorities were closing in on him.”

Afterwards, my friend and I discussed it.

“What a load of bollocks,” I said. “As if old Rolf would do a thing like that.”

I was a big Rolf fan, and still like his art and humorous songs - but now not the man. We were in Australia in 1991 and were told something similar then - but just dismissed it as how could that have been true of someone who was already a National Treasure back home?
