Just downloaded the Radio Australia app, and tuning into the buildup for Carlton v Collingwood on SEN 1116. Going to be a great game!

Maaaan, i wish i was at home on the sofas watching this, and not at bloody work! i love Carlton v Collingwood games, i went to one at the G in the 2004 season when my mam was over visiting me in australia - only game she ever went to, and the pies were 25 points up going into the last quarter when carlton produced a magical late comeback and nicked it by under a goal. Absolute scenes, she had no clue what was going on other than she was being hugged by the twenty Blue strangers sat around us

The Aussie commentators do make me laugh. Heard this earlier on the radio:

4am start, but hopefully an absolutely thumping great win against the weagle shitbags for you lot 
i quite enjoyed a 4am start this week, it was all done by 6.30 and then i could head straight back to bed for a couple of hours. Sundaying properly!

I tend to have a browser open with score updates when im at work, i'd find a radio commentary too absorbing and would just sit around doing bugger allAre you able to listen to online radio @jamie-oh ?

go Saints, but I still prefer to follow Centrals in the SANFL where i grew up, watched them week in week out. We used to play footy on a saturday morning, shops closed at midday on a saturday, off to the footy to catch the final quarter of the reserve game before the main game which started at the traditional time of 2.20, doughnuts at 3 quarter time ......... happy days

I guess there will never be a better time for injury-stricken Pies to face West Coast Eagles. Tho having said that maybe 8am would be a better time than 4am...4am start, but hopefully an absolutely thumping great win against the weagle shitbags for you lot

'New' players doing themselves proud already. After Q1 it looks like a long way back for West Coast who aren't really showing anything yet. Or aren't being allowed to. But let's see if Pies can do it for two successive quarters, especially after already picking up a couple of fresh injuries

HT 74-19. Pies makeshift forward line doing well. Whole team seems to be pitching in with goals. West Coast dont know where the threat is coming from next. Impressive!
