Notes that came with it....
RAS LA TRIBU was an excellent reggae Band formed in Valencia (Spain). Its origin came when JAH MACETAS, another veteran Reggae band, split.
The group lasted two years, 1993 and 1994. During that period they signed a contract with BMG-Ariola but the company never supported the group
and records weren't rightly distributed.
Anyway, the band played many live shows. Their quality was great, thanks to the musicians, all veteran who had been playing in many bands, and their
frontman PERE ROOTS ANDRÉS, probably the best Reggae voice in all the country in that moment.
Members who came from JAH MACETAS:
PERE ROOTS ANDRÉS: Main vocal
PANXO BARRERA: keyboards
EDUARDO MARTÍ: bass
TXONI MÁNTARAS:drums, percussion and vocals

Then they joined:
SANTI NAVALÓN: piano, keyboards
ARÍSTIDES ABREU: guitar
NACHO GIL: drums

We hope you enjoy this recording, a compilation from several shows during "Babylon by Beach" tour (1994), it took place along the Valencian Coast.
This recording, almost a miracle, its taken directly from the mixer, with no aditional dubs or fakes. That's what it was.
It shows the high quality of the band and their powerful sound. It's got a great historical value. Give thanks. Jah guides.
