Threshers
I wish to inform you that it is with great regret I have to announce that when i woke up on Monday morning, TUNA was laying on the floor, fully deflated. I feel the pressure of the journey home was to much for him and he has gone to join CONRAD in dolphin heaven.

This thread is dedicated in his memory and I would like you all to add one TUNA song on this thread.

Please ensure you all change your status to TUNA as discussed.

'Its just a TUNA to the left'
And bring your GILLS in tiggghhhht
Put your fins on your hips.......

I am now very sad :(

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like some tuna in a tin
Never knowing who to cling to
When the brine set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I lost the tin opener
Your sweet taste burned out long before
Your flakes ever did

TUNA NOODLE SALAD

Ingredients
2 Tb Butter
1 cup Thinly sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup Finely chopped onions
2 Tb White flour
2 1/2 cups Milk
1 cup Grated Cheddar cheese
2 6 oz. Cans tuna
2 cups Cooked egg noodles
1/4 cup Parsley, minced
1/2 cup Dry bread

Preparation
Preheat oven to 375. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Saute mushrooms and onions until just tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and whisk in milk. Return pan to heat and cook, stirring, until it thickens and almost reaches a boil. Remove from heat and stir in cheese; stir until melted.

Drain tuna and break into flakes. Put in large bowl and add sauce, cooked noodles, parsley. Stir together and pour into greased baking dish. Sprinkle top with breadcrumbs. Bake at 375 until browned on top, about 30 minutes.
Cook's Notes
Serve your favorite green vegetables and/or a spinach salad with this. Crusty rolls and butter add some crunchcrumbs
