Attn: Those who have yet to get leeds tickets

If like me you have fallen foul to the fact you havent got an away members scheme thingy....

I spoke to the club yesterday who advised me they have 500 tickets left for the leeds game and if they have any left over they will be sent back to Leeds.

I rang up leeds who instructed me that any left over tickets that are returned will be for sale at the Northwest corner of the ground on match day.

I do wonder some times if any of you lot have ever been to a game of football before!?!

What were you expecting them to do....turn you away when the ground is half empty?

If we haven't sold out then of course they are going to sell tickets on the day.

If anyone wants to go on Saturday then just go, it really isn't that hard!

i only properly re joined the away members scheme half way through this season had been paying on the day at pretty much every away game for the first half of this season

not since that Aldershot away match (how long ago was that!?) when a 'non member' ran into a pub and left an onion on the table an ran out again

I'm not - it's not worth a tenner, i've always managed to get a ticket without being a "White" ticket member.

Indeed. I was a member for years and years and some stuff-and-nonsense happened over the Summer and, like many thousands of others, I've been jettisoned to non-member status.

Maybe mate...because Ive not been in the country for the last year & add that to the fact due to work commitments im unable to know in advance in past years whether id be able to go.

Previous to the year abroad..I lived in manchester for 4 years.....so that is why I do not have the away scheme thing...add that also to the fact you can 9/10 get in on the day whats the point!

the CURRENT system yes, but those in the old system didn't have to pay a tenner (if they did it in time)

Did you also have a job that you did not know in advance whether you would be working on the sat until late notice?

Also considering in this league you can also get into 90% of games without it....for me it just was not worth it.

Well if that's the case what's the problem?

The ticket arrangements for this season are quite clear, and are designed to deal with the demand for high profile games, I cannot understand why anyone who may want a ticket for a high profile doesn't get the white membership, it surely cannot be too much effort to do so.

Heaven forfend that we do actually make the playoffs, what a ticket binfest that will be.
