I have a tight budget but I'd be more minded to go if i could be fairly sure that our boys with give their all right from start to finish.

If we were to play like that and get beat then fair enough but to keep playing poorly, against beatable opposition, is not something I'd choose to spend my hard earned on.

I agree with that. It was very poor and certainly not good value for money.

plus plenty going to watch the cricket

Is the right answer,of course.Want to see the climax to the season as Sussex win the championship,or watch the uninspired efforts of the current mediocre Albion team?

I chose the football.

I think price is just an excuse if we were top of the table witha chance of promotion and playing good football we would be getting 7 = 8000 each week We would go bankrupt if we charged less for admission as the increased attendance if the football was shit wouldnt compensate the drop in gate income.

Very hard this as we need an atmosphere to get the team going but just lowering the price will piss off STH

I agree it's very difficult.

The onus is on the team to produce the performances that will entice people back.

If they showed passion and fight for 90 minutes then the crowd would be roused which in turn would hopefully further lift the players.

It's about any other 'purchase' and value for money comes into it. If we were top, or playing sparkling football each game, then I'd try to find funds by cutting back on something else.

If games contunue in the vein that they are, then it's difficult to justify spending all that on an afternoon which will just ruin my weekend. I used to live for the weekend and watching the Albion. last weekend at gillingham was fine, if you take out the football part.

Don`t worry our attendences are down also. Only 14,100 yesterday it cost me £43.00 £30.00 adult and £13.00 child ticket had we of lost I would not be going for sometime

Correct on all three points-especially the bit about the onus being on the team. I think they've forgotten that. Show us that you want to win and we'll make some noise for you-we've tried the other option but you don't seem to respond...your turn!

How many Jewish fans are there supporting the Albion? Yesterday was the Jewish Day of Atonement so observant Jewish Albion fans would not have gone along.

We would not go bankrupt at all, we charge the most in the League, alright we have the Falmer costs, but there is no disputing that it costs far too much. If we were top of the league of course we would be getting more, but if we were top and it was cheaper we would be getting more still.

And the excuse of season ticket holders being annoyed is a crap one. If they didn't they at the start of the season that they were charging too much then the club are idiots. Next season they need to drop season ticket prices massively, and have far reduced match day tickets.

But do we have the Falmer costs anymore - we won the fight so the finance is now in the business case for grants etc, cannot see how the club need to pay any more for it.

basically we are still paying top championship prices for pretty mediocre 1st div football (millwall excepted). The prices should have been reduced by at least 20% and not the 5% pre season because the higher gates would have made up the shortfall.

Fans are picking the matches to go and see , Yeovil are not a big draw so its not surprising the attendance is shit. The matches against Forest and Leeds will be near sell outs as these should be entertaining games and also prove we can pick up three points from these "famous" clubs.
