Why is it laughable? People have different values and it's not necessarily the total spend that's important.

The difference is £6, for the tickets,so as a supporter I would find that amount. Drink less beer or do not eat the pies.

You either a football supporter or not, I would pay extra for the ticket and forget about the food and drink.

That's your view, and fair enough. To me it's not that black and white, although I accept I might not be as 'big' a supporter as you. That's an observation, not a snide "Oh all hail the superfan!" dig btw; when we were at Withdean I cheerfully admitted I was, literally, a fairweather supporter and an unashamed Big Game Charlie.

Grown-up game. The young kids will all be in bed. So if they count bums on seats the gate will be quite well down.
