I think Huddersfield will bring 700/800.

Annoying really because if it was a top 6 team, the attendance would be 28,000/29,000.

If you'd read this thread during the darker Withdean years it would have seemed like the stuff of fantasy. Superb.

26438.

Absolutely this. To think some of us are disappointed in a few gaps in the crowd and yet we're attracting 25000 odd! Even a couple of years ago I thought that perhaps for big games we'd get 20000 or so at Falmer, never in a million years over that for the likes of Peterborough. How wrong I was.

Wonderful times!

shame the ES Lower always looks patchy. thats what the viewers see and gives impression we have not got a big crowd in.

25765 for me. corners will be pretty much empty

The estimates for 700-800 for Huddersfield are too low IMO. They travel well. In one of our last games at the Amex they filled the south stand which was 800 and could have brought a whole bunch more. This is a new ground for new.

As for the Overall attendance, I predict 26305 which should be our highest league gate at the Amex

The new capacity will be 30750, but the NW corners don't look like being used at all (minus 1800). The Huddersfield fans will fit in the 1300 allocation in the south, and it does not look like we will need any of the SE corners (minus 1600). Huddersfield will be 150 shy of their 1300 allocation (minus 150). The eastern half of S1G will not be used (minus 325). There will be 50 unsold seats in the new 1901 wrap (minus 50). 2 of the new south stand boxes won't be used (minus 20). There will be about 500 unsold tickets from N1H and S1B (minus 500)

The first line of my last post should have read 'in one of their last games at Withdean.....'

Doh!

Yes, but they were in contention for automatic promotion at that game, as opposed to fighting relegation as they are now.

Are the seats in the north-west corner the last to be installed?

i wouldn't say a team that took 700 30 miles down the road to Burnley Tuesday night as having good away support

reckon 700 is about right

"Today's matchday attendance is 25,831 and that includes..."

...by the looks of the empty seats today that included about 1500 absent season ticket holders.

I'm not saying it's right and I'm not saying it's wrong. It's just the way things are.

Nationally it is accepted that between 5% and 7% of season ticket holders don't turn up for one reason or another (weddings, funerals, work, illness etc)
