With Tanno's brief being to work on the defence and Oatway's being to hand out the bids and cut the oranges. Who think's Gus could benefit by having another coach on board to maybe work with the attacking side of the game, to maybe offer something different. I'm sure this is something that would help as Gus must have a very hectic schedule. His old mate Zola maybe...Thoughts?

I saw a Zola interview recently and he is waiting for a managers job, so that would be very unlikely, however stranger things have happened!

I dont think we particuarly need a attacking coach, perhaps our attacking players like Buckley and Vicente fit would be a good start.

From what I saw of Zola in the summer he could do a job....on the pitch!!! Still got it.

Why would Gus need a coach to do what he could do himself as he was an attacking player.

Exactly what I was thinking.

But I do agree with some of this, think it would be a good idea to bring in another attacking coach, someone with new ideas etc. Poyet's atttacking approach is all we have at the moment and think it would be good to have someone with new ideas, imagine if we brought zola in and we got barnes doing his little flick thing from the corner? (Well I can dream!)

Anyway whilst talking about Zola, wasnt he at the Withdean watching a game at one point last season?? But then he could of just been taking notes and playing style tips for preperation of being a manager.

Sorry, how many goals have we scored in the last five or six games? or chances created?

I think that is more down to the poor approach play and playing Barnes as a midfield/winger rather than an out and out striker which is down entirely to Gus's team selection rather than the strikers play..
