How come that’s in English, but when I click on the link, it’s in Greek? Is there a way of ’translating’ it into English?View attachment 166680
Trying to figure out which AEK Athens players I've heard of;
Vida - over 100 caps for Croatia
Djibril Sidibe - remember him on loan for Everton briefly, 18 caps for France
Ambrabat (the older one, obviously)
That might be it?
Ezequiel Ponce was a bit of a Argentinian prodigy who failed to live up to the hype. Was a go to signing in Football Manager 15/16.View attachment 166680

Yes I forgot Zuber. Sort of bloke I know from football stickers when the big international tournaments come around.Ezequiel Ponce was a bit of a Argentinian prodigy who failed to live up to the hype. Was a go to signing in Football Manager 15/16.
Steven Zuber has been a consistent Swiss international for the last half a decade or so.
F me feel sorry for them . So sanitised. Like prisoners being marched to the prison.Just found this on the AEK forum (courtesy of Google translate) : http://forum.aek.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=27496&sid=05f32c535a95cf488d221f9aef43ea19&start=120
AEK FC: Instructions to fans for Brighton
AEK FC informs that all our fans who have purchased tickets for the match against Brighton in England on Thursday (21/9) from the special platform of AEK FC, will receive their tickets electronically today (19/9).
All our fans who have registered their presence at the stadium through the Original 21 club in London, will receive their tickets from the club's representatives in London and Brighton.
We also urge our fans who will be at Brighton to pay close attention to the information below. Please note that the times that will be mentioned are self-evidently English hours.
The local authorities require all AEK fans who will be in the stadium to use coaches starting outside The King and Queen, 13-17 Marlborough Place, Brighton BN1 1UB. The coaches will transport AEK fans directly to the stadium.
This point is the meeting point for AEK fans who will go to the stadium. It will be open to AEK fans from 12 noon, while coaches will start transporting them to the stadium from 17.45. The King and Queen pub will serve food and drinks and will be exclusively open to AEK fans until they leave for the stadium. The police will be present there at all times.
The coaches will go to the stadium in multiple convoys, with a police escort. Fans must be at the point before 17.45 when their transfer will begin. The transfer to the stadium will take approximately 30 minutes.
AEK fans' tickets will be checked before boarding the coaches.
Attention: For serious safety reasons, AEK fans who hold tickets should not use alternative ways of getting to the stadium!
AEK fans should remain in their seats for at least 30 minutes after the end of the match for safety reasons. During this time they will normally have access to toilets, food and drinks from canteens that will be available for them throughout the time they remain in the stadium. AEK fans are kindly requested to be patient until permission is given to leave. Please note that in canteens payments are made only by card.
After their departure, the exact same procedure will be followed by which they will have previously come to the stadium and return to the original meeting point.
AEK fans who intend to carry banners to the stadium should be aware that it is mandatory to have a certificate that the banner is made of non-flammable material. Otherwise they can't put it on the pitch. Banners with political or racist content are also prohibited. Drums are also not allowed.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
In this Brighton or Marseille?Attention: For serious safety reasons, AEK fans who hold tickets should not use alternative ways of getting to the stadium!
They don't have to abide by them. I certainly won't be doing any of the nonsense our club is suggesting for Marseille.F me feel sorry for them . So sanitised. Like prisoners being marched to the prison.
Maybe somebody with a smattering of Greek could post on the AEK forum that that travel information is utter bollocks and they can just make their way to the Amex in pretty much complete safety via a 10 minute train journey from Brighton station, a cheapish cab ride from the city centre or just get the 25 bus to the stadium from the Old Steine. Ain't no Euro Warzone, that's for sure. In fact penning the AEK fans up in the King & Queen can only potentially incite conflict where there otherwise wouldn't 'of' been anyF me feel sorry for them . So sanitised. Like prisoners being marched to the prison.
That's crazy! We're more likely to hand them poncho's & ask for their recipes for Gyro's, than start any trouble.Just found this on the AEK forum (courtesy of Google translate) : http://forum.aek.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=27496&sid=05f32c535a95cf488d221f9aef43ea19&start=120

You will probably just see one of our fans waving the wrong Japanese flagIs anyone in charge of Tifos?
I want to see a "Other clubs can but our players, but can't but our soul and our spirit"
They’ll be completely knackered by the time they turn right into Trafalgar Street.I for one will be disappointed if they don’t march en masse like a mythical Greek army from ‘spoons up the A270 to Falmer.
That’s about as Greek as a Zulu wearing a tartan kilt.A few Togas might blow off if the weather doesn't improve by Thursday
Suggest it’s maybe to keep them away from us.
