Diego Pablo Simeone has provided the squad list for the friendly match that we will play this Sunday in England against Brighton & Hove Albion, newly promoted to the Premier League.

The following players will not be travelling with the team: Saúl, who continues getting in shape; Gameiro, who continues with his recovery; Filipe Luis, who suffers a low grade muscle injury; Vrsaljko, who stays in Madrid as a precaution due to slight muscle aches; Werner, due to a technical decision; Kranevitter and Santos Borré, both with permission from the club.

Therefore, the squad list is the following:

Goalkeepers: Oblak and Moyá.
Defenders: Godín, Savic, Lucas Juanfran, Giménez and Sergi.
Midfielders: Thomas, Koke, Carrasco, Augusto, Gabi, Gaitán, Amath and Keidi.
Forwards: Griezmann, Torres, Correa and Vietto.

Some fantastic players in there. Can't wait.

Looking at all the tweets this afternoon and evening, from Brighton Station, and to Southern Rail, it seems the trains are a mess, not coping with the crowds from Pride.

Add in 27K trying to get to the Amex, (yes, I know they don't all come via Brighton) it seems wise to leave plenty of time to get the train to the ground for kick off.

This board should be interesting this evening with a lot of people having their first look at Ryan, Suttner and Gross. How many will be written off as not good enough?

Out of interest, does anyone know how we swung this one? Bruno worked some magic? Tony won it at poker? With all due respect to Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, it's the pre-season friendly equivalent of Sheffield Wednesday FC visiting Tiverton Town (other club comparisons are available).

Without sounding fick, does this mean that STV subscribers, living IN UK cannot watch it?

We paid a fee for it. Not sure who pays the hotel bill down the Metropole/Grand though. CH got to choose opposition he wanted to test his side against PL equivalents.

It came through as a notification, sorry no link :(

No worries! Anyway there's a VPN you can download called Hola that let's you pick the country to be recognised in. Only very advanced streaming sites like Netflix have found a way around this so I'd say you'll be alright on the Albion web page ;-)
