I'm afraid that I have given in to my baser, bedwetter instincts. Without a striker I simply can't see how we shall be competitive over an entire season. We might give a good account of ourselves now and then but without a reliable front man to put away the smaller number of opportunities that are likely to come our way this season it's hard to see where the necessary goals are going to come from. I fear the season has passed us by tonight.

That said, I'll still be there for the WBA match singing myself hoarse.
