With a 25 man squad plus U23s you would need a very high number of players out to even get to the discussion with the PL unless you’re one of the big six.
Fixed for you.

Our submitted list of registered U21s: (HGP = Home Grown Player)
Bailey Leo Smith
Curious that young Bailey Smith isn't down as a HGP even though he is a Worthing lad with British heritage.
I don't think it has anything to do with heritage or nationality:
What is a Home-Grown Player?
A "Home-Grown Player" means a player who, irrespective of nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to The Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons, or 36 months, before his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21).
I still find it strange that players are kept in a bubble all week but when someone scores, they run over to fans and get embraced by god knows who, who has been let in the ground without his COVID status being checked.
On Talksport earlier they were talking about this.
In relation to Spurs they were saying that UEFA will make Spurs play Rennes on Thursday if Spurs have got 13 fit players including 1 goalkeeper
I recently read up on a game in Portugal when Darwin Nunez scored a first half hat trick , the opposition however were made to start with nine players which included two goalkeepers
The game was called off at half time when they lost two further players through injuries

I have absolutely no doubt at all that whatever decision is taken about Sunday's game will be made with a view to benefitting the self-styled 'Big Six' club.
But a couple of points:
Would it be better for us to play a weakened Spurs while so badly weakened ourselves? Or to face them later in the year when everyone on both sides is fit?
Will it be considered whether the players affected have been vaccinated or not? Personally I think that if players haven't been jabbed then it's their and their club's look-out, someone else can step in.

Are the Spurs players affected first-team regulars? Actually, ignore that. It's a squad game and they should have enough players. I don't think there would be any question of calling the game off because of our injuries.
