My Villa supporting relative said the fans are turning on their manager. He said the job is too big for him and a result for us on Saturday and he might be sacked, he wants him gone and Pochettino replacing him. He also said the rumours are they will add another 3 to the 2 they’ve already bought this window (oh and they’re going to hammer us in Saturday, with the best player in the league too good for us).

Genuine :lolol:

That was also their only tactic when they had Grealish. The difference being he was better at drawing those fouls and also delivering the ball into the box. Villa’s use of him was criminal considering his talent.

He seemed pretty eager to play along though. Not seen him yet at City so not sure if he changed, but the conversations at Villa last year I can imagine as .....

"So what are we doing in training this week gaffer?"

"Well Monday will be focussed on buying free kicks by, tuesday, we'll practice the shrieking noise you can make even when you've not been touched, wednesday, we'll rehearse surrounding the ref, thursday is sharing bookings around the team and friday is aiming the free kicks at the big fella."

I reckon we're better off practicing actual football

One man team lose that one man and aren’t top 4 at start of season, not really a surprise. Expect they will finish top 10 before spending a shed load in the summer to break top 6, before failing and repeating again

While they should probably perform a bit better, they should also be careful what they ask for and hold off any change until next summer.

The early lyrics for Craig David's 7 days really needed work.

Seems like the writing could be on the wall for DS after another defeat tonight. Losing at home to relative Midlands minnows Wolverhampton last week was a kick in the teeth but tonight's defeat could be the final straw. They will not tolerate being behind the likes of us, Brentford and Wolverhampton.

Yet strangely , and annoyingly , won at Old Trafford.

Anything can happen when two of the Prem's most clueless managers go head to head.

Villa were an absolute shambles tonight, they could easily have been 4 or 5 down at half time.

Mings - oh my life. I literally have no idea how fishlips has him ahead of Dunk in the England pecking order. How ?

HOW ?

I hope DS stays.

Very average.

In 2018/19 they only went up through the play offs, despite a squad cost and payroll on another planet from anything else in the division.

According to my Villa supporting relative the job is too big for him.
