Never, never ceases to bewilder me how folk slate the team selection etc before a ball is kicked. Then look reet prunes at the end. The Wolves 6-0 was the best example we have.

Anyroad, half way through the campaign and 10th in the table. Can't complain.

Very good recovery. Think I've come to the conclusion we need Mitoma, mintah and Rutter as the front 3 with Pedro. Thought Tariq was a real threat and for the most defended well. Having Egor to go to a back 3 makes a lot of sense to cover for his runs forward.

Biggest thing I liked was the lads were all fighting for each other all match. Yes it was messy and uneasy to watch most of the time Villa had the ball but we showed some grit to keep on going to get something from the game. That said Villa were quite poor but had some good players missing- so do we. If we were on top form we should have won it really

Villa are 5th in the Champions League, so getting a point at Villa Park is good going. Especially as our manager is crap and the players aren't trying.

Yer I'm verrrrry negative but villa away is one of the hardest games of the season. Even if we were going for top 4 we would more than likely lose there. Surprised so many were having breakdowns when we were losing.
