Solid team but I really don’t like it when we start with Welbeck and Ferguson up top together. Still in RDZ we trust.

I think he likes the experience of Welbeck, especially since the midfield is missing Gross and maybe a little bit lightweight.

Thought he did well enough on Wednesday to put himself in the frame - hope he does as well today

From what I've seen he looks out of his depth and doesn't really have any stand out qualities. But I havent seen him that much. Obviously de zerbi knows what he's doing.

But seriously this is the hardest game of the season so far. It's an interesting choice.
Best game for him. Where ever he goes on the pitch, there is experience to guide him....I rate him highly. He's not flash like Ensico, Pedro or fati, he's very workmalike and very rarely puts a foot wrong

Rugby is now using 'finishers' off the bench. People who can cement a lead. Football has traditionally used 'impact subs'. We have both on our bench now. Which bodes very well over the whole season.

I'd imagine it's from FPL Leaks or whatever it's called, a twitter account that somehow gets team info 15 minutes before the teams are announced.
Well, whatever it is I don't like it.
I'd much prefer to wait until the team is officially announced than hear it off someone who may, or may not know, trying to look smart.

have to say i am really puzzled by that lineup. obviously trust roberto but i am obviously blind to wheatever game plan he has. fergus and welbeck were disastrous together against west ham, 9 changes again is almost totally rotation, and i also don’t really understand why joao pedro never seems to start in the league

hope you've got your VPN on, @Maxx the supergrass squad will be out looking for you
15 mins ahead, 4 players and copied off a leak site isn't really going to be much of a problem.

On the other hand The Gem genuinely cost us points IMO,

We've got a midfield problem, RDZ said so, but it's obvious. Gross and Milner injured, Baleba still adjusting, Dahood not up to it if you ask me. We will need movement and hold up, which is what we didn't have in the first half on Sunday. If - big IF - Ferguson is now fit then he can come into the spine and hold up and Welbeck and March should run off him.

Beyond that the back 4 is exactly what I was hoping for to cope with their attacks.

It's not perfect, but we're going to see it a lot until we're out of Europe.

Yes, this is a game where work rate will be important, especially in the first half when Villa will start quick.
Take him off after 60 minutes and get Dahoud on then when the game will have opened up a bit and Villa start to tire.
I wonder whether he’ll be given a specific job, like tracking McGinn?

What a great moment for mini Hinsh. On the face of it it seems a bold call but I'm excited to see how he does. It's going to be a tough game, it feels like we generally lose to Villa with a regularity that we reserve for beating Wolves and West Ham. We've lost to West Ham this season so maybe...

Brighton are challenging for top spot today and with 4 Sussex born players starting. Kinda smashes Dean Wilkins Sussex project out the park.
