Premier League! Not tin-pot cup!!Didn't vs Chelsea last werk
Very much Team DeZerbi hereI'm starting to think DeZerbi is starting to believe his hype. He keeps making such strange decisions.
Spot on...Think we need a bit of a reality check, everyone was getting a bit carried away.
You can’t lose the likes of Caicedo and MacAllister from your starting XI and see Hinshelwood and Gilmour as your replacements and expect to go to a decent PL side and get a result.
Estupinian, March, Webster, Welbeck and Ferguson are bang out of form and we’ve had a relentless run of games.
A personal opinion but just don’t think you can continue to make the changes that RDZ does and expect any consistency. None more so that in the goalkeeper position where Steele looks a bit exposed as of late.
However….
We are almost in October, likely to go into the international break in the top 6 and a much needed result in Marseille on Thursday would see a pretty solid start to the season.
Not really an excuse when season barely startedI'm sure this won't be the last performance like this during this long, congested season.
Do we have a defensive coach?
10 games without a clean sheet isn’t acceptable.
I’m all for risk and reward football but our defending has been shambolic at times this season.
We'll beat City and everyone in the media who somehow missed our defensive performances against almost everyone with ask "Are Brighton serious title contenders!?"But you know what we're like. We'll probably get a draw against them.
Premier League! Not tin-pot cup!!
Your happy with our options in the middle then? We aren't weaker there than last season? If we had similar quality in the middle we would still get battered 5-1?
It's an embarrassment. It's ok to be p+ssed off the same it is ok to be positive too. United and Newcastle was with our best team, now we see what happens without depth. Sadly the fringe players aren't good enough to patch us up.
We've been s+it, simple as and our lack of depth in some positions is and will continue to hurt us.
Guess we agree to disagree.
