At the risk of upsetting people I fear next Saturday night we'll be level on points with ****ing Leeds.

Now there's a cheery thought.

Is there any reason Maupay hasn't been starting recently?

It's the same as last year, but we didn't get the rub of the green then.

We can't raise our expectations until we do get that goal man.

The wheels won't come off IMO unless you call finishing in 17th or below.

We are due heavy punishment for not recruiting properly upfront.
It's entirely possible we could lose a long string of games.
The signs are there and the players look ready for it.
And once you start sliding down the Premier League it's hard to stop.

Looking more toothless than ever, at least we missed a load of chances last season

Not much point when we don't make chances. Just need to move it faster and get our attacking players to find their shooting boots.

This. Chrissy Ronaldo would struggle to score with this quality of chance creation.

Also if we sit back and try to catch teams on the break there is a danger that if we start attacking then we could be caught in the break, and with Sanchez missing......

Oh.

The Potter Out Campaign are going to be all over NSC now telling us they were right last December.

But our attacking players are barely good enough to be in a bottoms 6 squad.

Over and out.

PV has found away of getting Palace to score goals.

Trust us to get the only football genius who can't work out how to get his team to attack effectively.

See what happens if you just take a shot on goal rather than trying to walk it in every time?

Poor, poor performance. Absolutely hopeless and clueless going forward. We showed nothing today and deserved nothing.

Honestly can't understand Potter's tactics whatsoever in these past two games. Our lack of attacking threat in the final third means these bang average sides become more and more willing to chuck players forward as they realise no threat is coming the other way. Villa were there for the taking today - and Potter takes off two of our best attacking players (Cucu and Lamptey) and only has us playing with a recognised striker in the last 15 mins, when the players who were getting crosses in are off the pitch. Then when Villa score it's far, far to late to do anything.

He seriously needs to work out some tactics to break teams down who sit in a solid defensive shape out of possession, as yet again we've been done & hardly laid a glove on them - don't worry we'll win the possession prize though.

Well said

Fecking depressing watch, that - toothless (as usual), most of the possession (again), more flair but sod-all to show for it.
That fab start is pretty much eroded, now.
Bollocks.
Meanwhile, Watford manage to pump four (4!) past Man. U.

Our football is so good, but we just don't have anyone in the area who can finish it off.

Our best chance of scoring is corners, penalties or a stroke of luck.

This is going to be the story of our season... again.

Don't think we've got our head on a corner since Duffy against Watford
