Michael Oliver got lots wrong with cards and non cards, but fair play, cancelling out his own initial ruling.

(We thought that ego would take over).

A first this season?

This.

The way the Villa player launched himself over with a slight touch to the shin was an embarrassment to every human being that has ever learnt to stand and walk on two feet.

Stayed off NSC as heart can’t take it.

Welbeck outstanding.
Clear and obvious error on pen, March played the ball.
Grealish great player but basically a cheat....
Maupay and Webster bit dodgy. Dunk got stronger. Gross excellent

It was funny that, Gross had more mobility in the second half.

****ing brilliant performance, big eared Oliver total respect for overturning his decision, only set back Lamptey sending off.

Have we turned the corner, I hope so, Potter got it right today, long may it continue.

I'm ****ing buzzing.................:albion2::albion2: #potterin :thumbsup:

Rob Green, Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live knows what's up:

It's for a late tackle on Grealish. Grealish has gone down the way that Jack Grealish does.

It's a late, tired tackle from Lamptey. It's cost him a red card.

It's a harsh one.

Grealish was over half-way to the floor before Lamptey got anywhere near him.

This.

The way the Villa player launched himself over with a slight touch to the shin was an embarrassment to every human being that has ever learnt to stand and walk on two feet.

He was also rolling around in "agony" for about 2 minutes. What a ****.

Lallana's assist for the first was a thing of beauty.

Lamptey's second card was harsh. But fair play to Oliver for having the guts to admit he got the penalty wrong.

I'll look forward to your balanced and unbiased opinions in 7 days time.

I'm sure they won't have changed despite all evidence to the contrary.

The red for Lamptey was ridiculous but otherwise immense result, just what we badly needed

Wow. A few refereeing points.
1) Why no replay of Cash’s handball?? I don’t think the whole ball was out. Big teams would have VAR looking at that.
2) Grealish has dived again and That is NEVER a yellow. That said, Lamptey didn’t need to go for that particularly against sock boy.
3) Couldn’t believe OLiver gave that. Thank goodness he was big enough to change his mind but would have looked ridiculous if not.

So relieved. Didn’t deserve it but are more than due some luck after Utd, Palace and Burnley.

4) Forearm smash into Lamptey’s back, no intention to play the ball, as we counter attacked at pace. No yellow.
