I don't think I've been as frustrated at losing today. We played so bloody well and should have won it
had Mooy not been so effing unnecessarily silly. We were all over them until that point. I'm really optimistic for the
rest of the season.

Agreed, waking up today and the horror of it rushes back in, I still haven’t fully checked all the other scores, just wanted away from all things football at full time yesterday.

So frustrating the points return for our performances this season and another game against a team who will be down there and zero points to show. We have to start getting some wins against these teams.
Got to put Norwich to the sword.

Well just had villa fan telling me we were lucky to only lose 2-1 and they battered us and we should of been down to 9 after grealish was savaged by us. When I said that before sending off we were only team in it he said bollox. End of convo

just shows how all fans see it differently. talking to villa fans after the game waiting for a bus several said how unlucky we were and the better team lost

Villa are an improving team - they didn't play particularly well yesterday - and in that situation Brighton really do need to get those points.

Points tally very concerning at this stage given who we have played

All very well playing nice football but the table does not lie.

When will somebody tell the players that in the last minute you do not give the ball to their keeper or have ridiculous speculative shots which gives him possession but take the ball to the corners to play out time and settle for what you have.

And you can call me fickle but I've gone back to hating him.
How can you hate a man who shows remorse

Anyways, now I've settled down after the disappointment of yesterday, I thought I'd put a positive spin on it.
We are only 16 points away from the top of the premier league, palace lost at home and I finally figured out how to install the drivers for a wifi dongle on a linux distro!:clap2:

Brighton are an improving team, and didn't get the rub of the green on Saturday - in that situation sometimes you come away with nothing. It will change and we will get those points . . . . like we did the previous game against has beens Totting-Ham.

The VAR ruling out of that first Villa goal was absolutely ludicrous. OK it went in our favour this time, but fvck a duck, how the bollock they arrived at that conclusion is utterly beyond me. Ryan wasn't fouled at all, he just screwed up. And then you see the Watford penalty review - stone wall - and they DON'T give it, and you just have to throw your hands up and say WHATS THE FVCKING POINT ? And thats before you even look at the big screen farce there that said "no goal" when, err, actually it was.

VAR is a joke.

Not true. You are just going by your specific reaction to the play. Maty was absolutely interfered with on that save and it should have been whistled right at that time. The referee was corrected and whatever happened after that should have been stopped by the whistle. GKs have forever been protected when touched in trying to make a play on the ball with their hands. Keepers have to be allowed to make the play with their hands or otherwise they would be kicked excessively. It's part of the game and was a corrected call for the referee who should have blown his whistle. How many more goalkeeper injuries do we want?

I thought Ryan was lucky to get it too but because I thought he was weak in coming for it. However it was a foul, you know why the 6 yard box exists right? It used to be called the goalkeepers area.
