Asteroid"Skims The Bar".

An asteroid has narrowly missed the Earth by 201,000 miles. Scientists have named it "Emile Heskey".

Last night an asteroid the size of an aircraft carrier came closer to hitting Earth than the distance between us and the Moon. That's the nearest miss in 200 years!

Still considerably closer than any of Craig Davies' shots on Sunday.

But how far away from it would you need to be to be safe?

If you live North of Dyke Rd and Elm Grove you would probably be OK. Church Rd in Hove will be ok too, the rest will perish.
