I agree. With respect to them, the Away supporter is a very different animal to the Home supporter. I would not dream of missing a home game and I rarely contemplate going to an away game. I would prefer one solution for Home games and another for Away games - after all, why would the Away contingent want me having dibs on the tickets for games I have never bothered about going to previously, which in turn would unreasonably disadvantage our Away contingent in my favour.

Absolutely, plus of course we are talking about games at the Amex here, home games that we havealready bought season tickets to watch. As you say away games are a completely different matter.

Like others have said, find out who actually wants to attend, many people are still shielding or have to protect people that are shielding.

The club made a generous offer to key workers to have tickets, the first few hundred should be offered to them first.

Find a way for family and groups to sit together.

Then set up a system where everyone who wants is offered games, these could be swapped on an exchange with people who have slots for other games if possible.

I like the NFL example where all ST are suspended and refunded without any consequence and you pay per game if selected until games revert back to some normality.

Ideally, it would be loyalty points as that would suit me and my group. However, I'm acutely aware that will be unfair so some sort of rota would be needed.

The club would also have to take into account family groups who wouldn't need to social distance.

The only thing I don't agree with is suspension of season tickets. The club have already shown that when fans can't go, a refund is made. There should perhaps be protected status for those that have good reason to shield. If there are tickets for any games then it should be season ticket holders that have priority and then the club can decide how they sort that out fairly. Situation slightly different at Jacksonville Jaguars as a quick check seems to suggest they are between 5k and 10k short of capacity at each game for the 2019 season whereas the Albion are selling out. Also, not sure exactly what percentage of the crowds at the TIAA are season ticket holders anyway.

Just look at the totally over the top reaction from "Im waiting till they open the west stand upper left quadrant 4th row before i get my ticket" brigade for cup matches . The club are on a no win scenario here if its not fully open to home fans.

I hear what you’re saying, but the vast majority of supporters are sensible types who will totally understand the situation and the predicament the club are in. I’m sure there will be a few idiots who complain but I’m sure most will be supportive.

That's wrong. The seats are less than a metre so that means a gap of two seats and then you need to think about the gap between rows!

Will probably be relaxed further by the time the season starts. Also, you’re not facing the person in the row in front/behind so direct transmission very very unlikely based on all the research so far.

Could see maybe half capacity to start with, STH only, matches pre-allocated around the whole ground and with some form of ticket exchange in place between STHs. Maybe a requirement to wear masks perhaps......

Let’s say for arguments sake the Covid capacity is 10k. Really easy now, every season ticket holder gets to see 1 in every three games. Same goes for 1901/corporate. Cup games go to lottery.

This seems the best option surely, sth on a rotation basis of some sort

If I have the option to give up my place until it gets back to normal, I will do so.
