I’m all for it - but that’s as someone who has lived with severe pain on a daily basis - as soon as my quality of life goes as a results of degenerative conditions ie not being able work or go to football anymore, or travel/socialise etc then I’m done. I don’t want a life housebound and in constant pain with multiple illnesses.
However there needs to be safeguards - it should be a decision made by the physically sick while sound of mind. Partners/relatives should not be at risk of criminal sanction for assisting when that’s the express wish of the sick.
Back in hospital tonight yet again so plenty of time to think this through and it is something I have discussed with my GP before now if things get really bad. I think it should be a matter of individual informed and free choice.
At the moment though looking forward to going to Aston Villa at home on the 2nd and the Cup game w/e 28th March.
