Not a lot - the prospect of going to Crewe is not much better than that of coming here. They have always relied on their youth system and loans from Liverpool. Hopefully, their luck in such matters is finally running out.

Crewe get some of that money, but what seems a bit dodgy to me is that Ashton has a clause in his contract that entitles him to a proportion of the money that Crewe get.

Seems like Ashton will do quite well out of this deal.

Narj paid £3m for Aston....that makes the profit £4m so Crewe get around £800K.

Apparently, there will be a 15% sell on clause with this deal too.
