‘I just hope the fans understand where I’ve come from, the reasons for leaving and the reasons for doing this book’ Yeah right. We all understand it’s because you’re a greedy, self obsessed, money grabbing, idiot Ashley. Don’t sweat it.

It reminds of the Sun headline ‘I’m no Harlot says Charlotte the Harlot’ It should read I’m not Greedy says Cashly Cole

Cole was on £30,000 a week.
He wanted £60,000 a week.
They offered him £55,000 a week. That is a payrise of 92%.

Can someone sit down and patiently explain to me how this offer amounted to a "betrayal" ? Cos I really must be missing something quite fundemental here.

Exactly. Ashley should try working here. Were lucky if we get inflation. We're not best pleased about it, Unfortunately Jose Hewlitt Packard hasn't some in to offer me a big fat pay rise and a new mobile phone.

Guess I'll just have to get over my betrayal and crack on with my monthly forecast then.

There's only one thing more pathetic than a Premiership player. And that's somebody who buys a book 'written' by a Premiership player :shootself

Does this guy really deserve front page headlines.

This guy earns about £40,000 a week what a wanker this bloke is.

I could not give a shit about any of these premiership players, I think there wankers and as Alan Sugar says they are Scum.

Has Ashley Cole had a bad life? Please tell me If I should feel sorry for him.

The bloke is a tosser. He felt betrayed?Didn't this same pillock betray Arsenal by having secret meetings with Chelsea a while back which that idiot Chelsea manager said he wasn't there?

The only way to stop players getting high wages is to:

1) Directors to impose a wage cap
2) Supporters refusing to go to matches and buying merchandise

I dont see anyone doing step 2, however if every club in the world imposed a wage cap then these footballers would have no choice but to except it.

What is so f***ing annoying is that a lot of these premiership players dont understand where their money comes from in the first place. I think it is absolutely disgusting.

Alan Sugar said it correct total scum" and" most of them would be in prison" he has got it in one.

I have never ever heard a premiership player say they get too much money and that they are very lucky to be in this position. There is one Italian player who took a wage cut and plays on the minimum wage, a lesson to all Wankers like Cole.

I wonder if the beckhams would ever do this?

It's not their fault really. They're absolutely equivalent to the trashiest of lottery winners. Kings Of Chav to a man. They'd be just as happy playing for a pub team on a Sunday. But if some mug wants to pay them silly money, then they're hardly going to turn it down. That's obviously what somebody's worked out to be their market value, even tho nobody actually cares very much about these people outside of their Fantasy Football predictions.

Maybe the one overriding plus in their favour is that they all managed to out-chav Alan Sugar who is used to Total Servitude from people on a fraction of a footballers wages. They put one over on him bigtime, just like the Apprentice winner who got made permanent staff then immediately got up the duff. Way to GO!

Don't think he has done any favours to the public opinion of himself. People already thought pretty low of him in trying to get the move and then the book just brings on a new low.
Claims the move was not about money but then he goes on about 5k difference with his wages at Arsenal. Shocking
