Dangerous Idiot
The amount of chances Barnes needs to score one is not the work of a natural finisher if he were he would be banging in 20+ a season.

Ulloa is incredible is the air and his heading is Sheareresque. But his finishing with his feet is not great. His goal against Leeds was top class, obviously, but if you look at the Barnes goal reel you will see some very clever finishes. Or, you'll ignore them because they don't suit your agenda.
This is true but to have a player that converts 3 out of 4 chances wont be cheap.Mate you miss the point. Everyone looks good when it goes in the net. What you dont get from clips of him scoring is the countless chances he misses that he should be putting away with a blind fold on. The bloke needs 4 one on one chances before he even thinks of converting one, and that is just too wasteful. CMS has been the same.
See League 1 before he got moved out wide.....

Re, yes. By a long way.

Barnes is NOT a better finisher.
Ulloa finishing is impeccable.
Barnes missed around 12 easy chances v Newport by himself alone! If barnes thinks for more than two seconds he misses. He's only good at first time finishes.
Surely you are fishing.
If this is the qualification for a natural finisher, what does that make CMS who scored 35 that season? But, of course, he isn't as good at finishing as Barnes. No one is.
Some on here would have you believe he is the new messiah.
I'm going to say it. Barnes is an average Championship striker. He's old enough to be nearing his peak. Some on here would have you believe he is the new messiah. In fact, he is the second or third best striker at the club. On top of that, his petulance last season was shocking, although, hopefully, he is over that; he should be at his age!
