Ashley Barnes isn't nearly good enough for us.

I enjoy Mr Burns posts for the most part, but this one is a misjudgement of Complete Badger proportions.

I agree with Mr Burns more often than not, which does make me wonder if this is just a wind up thread. I'll give him one thing though, he's a stubborn fellow.

He's 20/21 people, give him a bloody chance!!! He's nowhere near the prime age for a striker. In a few years when he reaches that age, if he isn't scoring goals, slag him off all you want!

Prize for the most predictable bounce of the day. You win yourself a kinder egg.

Must admit he had a great game today. Funny though how its been nearly a month since this thread was last commented upon.

Whats funny about itbeing bounced a month ago?

All over NSC our three pronged attack has been praised, today Barnes stood out on the score sheet but has shown what he can do with the Wood/Murray/Barnes triple threat all month.

Most predictable reply of the day.
:nono::yawn: As I've said in other threads, as soon as he scores a goal, some cock will bounce the thread. I should have done it every time he plays poorly, so 2 of the last 3 games, but I don't.

Its about time he stuck a couple of goals away. Nice to see him get a one on one for a change. Long may it continue, but one swallow does not make a summer:D

So that's two games where he hasn't played well in how many this season?

Seems quite a few of these one off games where he plays well....

maybe it's fair to say that he will occasionally struggle, but occasionally show some top draw ability... because it is his first full season of pro football... because he is a quality youngster... but not an utterly infallible super-legend just yet??

ps. will never tire of this bounce! fun fun fun, it means we and ash are doing good ;)

pps. and to be fair mr. burns was singing his praises with the rest of us mid-game!

Its all about opinions mate, but i never said hes hasn't played well in two games this season, so dont go quoting me on things I haven't said. I said 2 out of the last 3. I think quite a few were surprised when he got the nod over Wood today, but it turned out to the the right decision. Now lets hope he can continue his form of today for the rest of the season. I hope he does.

Indeed, if we all agreed it would be bloody boring! Just so happens you're wrong in this case  :lolol:

Contry to what some of the twats on thread think and say, I really want him to succeed. I dont have an agenda, I dont dislike him, I dont even know him to dislike, but I think he's very lucky with the continuous chances he's been given. Hopefully it will pay of, and of course he'll have great games, hes not a complete pile of cack, he has something about him, but looking at the quaility of the squad, I don't think he's up there with the rest of them, and IMO he's lacking things you cannot train into or out of a player

Yer, in your opinion. Theres been more than enough comments over the past weeks, to suggest I'm not alone in what I think, but other go missig when he plays well, I won't. It's my view and I'll stick with it, until I decide to change it, and I wont be doing that each and every time he has a great game, or a shit game.
