each to their own I say, personally I love it here and most English I come across (which is frankly heaps) seem to likewise - but I guess we're all different are we not?

I think that there are some good things here, but you can do them all in a week! maybe I came too late and should have made the trip 10 years earlier.
I will probably want to slow down a bit in my twighlight years then this place will be perfect.
