Got an extra 30mins of spending time with my brother and sister-in-law. 1-0.
Squeezed in an extra pint because of the delayed kick off. 2-0.
Lost 2-0. 2-1.
Waited 25mins for the bus and then the driver stopped half way down the queue so I never got on it. 2-2.
Moving house fell through today. 2-3.
Mrs has cooked dinner. 2-4.

This is a rubbish game.

Got home in record time. Pretty much an hour from full time whistle to home (Rustington), via two trains and a short car journey, each train was landed on with perfect timing (ie last people onto a train, or just about made a train before it left).

Small victories.

France thrashing the Jocks.

Knowing that betting on football long-term will never be profitable.

Having the shits and not leaving the house!!! Last night's curry to blame.

Highlight of my day was the marvellous pre-match cheese and bacon burger in the newly refurbed Fritz Regent (previously the Pav Tav) at the bottom of North Street, perusing the sports pages, whilst watching the Champions of Europe getting brutally dry-humped.

Sadly it was all downhill from there.

Dog did well at agility 1-0.
Daughter left bag of dog poo at agility hall and I had to drive back and pick it up 1-1
In-laws offered me their tv subscription so I could watch the game. 2-1.
Watched the game 2-2
Cleaned the inside of the car and got appreciation from Mrs D 3-2.
Daughters agreed to tik tok break because of scary things being put out on it at the moment. 4-2.

I’m going to bed happy, and trying not to think about the football.

Walked across to Hilbre Island off West Kirby at low tide. It’s not far but something I’ve been looking forward to being able to do since hospital. Beautiful sunny day as well.
Oh, you mean football wise ? Bugger all. Just had the commentary on in the background.

I drive down from Essex, usually parking at Wild Park. Got caught behind the accident so 50 minutes from Pyecombe to A27, knew I wouldn't get a space at Wild Park, headed for Woodingdean. parked up.

Win one.
Lovely downland views walking to the ground.

Got back to my car at 6pm

Win two.
Listened to the whole of Stereo Underground on the way back, using Radio Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
