Did not the crowd celebrate a goal only to have it overturned just as VAR does. They even waited for VAR to look at it.

I don't see how the game has changed that much.

That baffled me could they not have just quickly checked and let the game flow as no reason to stop it.

What if Spurs had gone up the other end and scored 10 seconds later, While they were still checking var ?

At least the crowd had an idea why the goal was disallowed as the linesman actually did what he is paid to do, But still no reason given the stadium screen or footage of the incident,
